Did I scare you? No? Phooey� well maybe NEXT time I�ll do a better job at sneaking up on you!

My name is Ashiki! Do you like my costume? Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year! Yep I even like it better than Christmas! Sure getting presents is fun, but it�s just so cool getting dressed up and getting to go trick-or-treating!

Do you like my costume? I�m a Gruslen! See I decided to go dressed up as a Gruslen, and my pet-pet Gruslen Tukuri went dressed up as a Shoyru! We worked really hard on our costumes together. Tukuri is my best buddy.

You know what else I love about Halloween? Every year my owner Kelandra throws a big Halloween party, it�s just the greatest! We decorate the whole place in orange and black crepe paper, and we work really hard on drawing Halloween pictures to hang in the windows. I just love drawing Halloween decorations. All of my sisters and our neofriends show up for the party. We bob for neggs, play pin the tail on the ghost lion, we take turns telling spooky stories, we have a costume contest, and late at night before we go trick-or-treating we play hide and go seek in the woods behind our neohome! It�s sooooo spooky at night! I remember one year, I was the seeker, and I couldn�t find my older sister Yaniem ANYWHERE! I was dressed up as a knight, so I had this big helmet on. It turns out that Yaniem was sitting on my helmet giggling at me the whole time! And there I was looking for her everywhere! My sisters are still joking about that even now�

Trick-or-treating is of course the best part about Halloween though! Me and my sisters take our plastic pumpkins, our flashlights and we go around to all the houses in the neighborhood to get candy and lots of other treats! One year I remember, I got an orange chocolate chia! It was so good I wanted to eat the whole thing, but I was nice and let my sisters each have a bite. There�s a nice little old Lenny lady down the street who bakes gingerbread wolf-men and hands them out to all the young pets, and there�s a Tuskaninny down the street who makes this great haunted house that he lets all the pets go through! It�s pretty scary, but I know it won�t scare me� not much anyway.

But I�d better go now! My friends are all arriving and it looks like the party is going to be starting soon and I don�t want to be late for the games! I hope you all have a happy Halloween too!
