Ahoy there maty! I ain't seen you in these 'ere waters b'fore. Let me introduce m'self, I be Zakberveth the Just 'an a sailor extraordinaire, not too bad wid' a cutlass either Oi might add! Whats that ye say? What, Me? Scourge of the oceans? Ye'v got me figured all wrong but for ye to think any different I'll 'av to tell yee me story, Won't I now ? Well tis a long story and I won't have no guest of mine standin in the weather t' hear it. Yee'll av' to cum an' sup some seaweed grog wid me in the aft cabin, Come on then ....move yerself!

Alot of water as passed under keel since I was a youg 'un and I remember little of those happy days but I do remember what it was that cut them short. M'self an' me fam'lee lived in a snug little cave in a cliff along the West coast of Mystery Island an' after an argument wid me Pa I stormed off an' wandered the shoreline for a bit. I was about t' make for home when a ragtag group of corsair scouts that were raiding the coast caught me. I never saw my fam'ly again but I'v ne'er regretted it though its caused me much grief. As a youngster I was expected to cook but a year saw me rowin' in the galleys and keepin' time to the beat of a drum and the crack of a whip. Not to many seasons had passed b'fore another pirate ship came in hope of plunder off the vessel. In their 'aste our captors left me unchained an' I was soon freein' the other slaves. Although inexperienced we outnumbered the corsairs by far to many to count and had soon slaughtered them all. It may seem harsh but creatures such as they ne'er change an'we would not let them live to enslave others such as they had us. We gave those of the slaves numbers who had perished in the fight a noble sea burial and sailed on. As we came to other lands many good beasts left to forge new lives for themselves but I stayed firm and became the anonymous cap'n. We vowed to protect the right and free any who might be enslaved against their will. Although the land is now what you seem to think of as civilised the seas ne'er change and their will always be some neopet despairing on the high seas. We will ever fight this evil and will NEVER give in.
