     In this article, I, Fyora the Faerie Queen, will talk and walk you through the top 10 Fyora items that I have personally picked for 2023.

     Being the Faerie Queen, I feel like I have to give some kind of introduction before I list the 10 items. So, the introduction first and then the 10 items. You may be wondering if this is totally necessary. Yes, this is totally necessary because if I don't give an introduction... this article will be too short and won't make it into the Neopian Times due to the shortage in word and character count.

     Ahem... right, on with the introduction now!

     Stores and shops are there for a reason. To sell. They try to answer the public's needs by selling their products. You help them by purchasing and they help you by selling. What's needed by someone may not be needed by another. You're probably wondering what I am talking about and where I am going with this.

      I am the Faerie Queen, the ruler of Faerieland. I am known as the kind faerie who's believed to be the most powerful being in all of Neopia. My duty is to keep everything under control, not just in Faerieland, but the whole world of Neopia. If you're out shopping and are unsure of what to buy in a specific department, do not worry because I got you covered! I will save you and everyone from the stress of not knowing what to buy.

     I have chosen 10 different departments and in each department, I will reveal my top pick for that specific category for this year in 2023.

     Number 10 - Furniture

     Fyora Print Bed

     Starting with number 10, we have here the Fyora Print Bed for the Furniture Department. Not getting quality sleep and waking up with shoulder, neck, and back pain? Could it be your bed? If you're looking to get a new bed, I highly recommend the Fyora Print Bed. This bed was released on June 2, 2004. It's a beautiful bed inspired by me and will look captivating in your bedroom. This bed will be the most comfortable one you'll ever sleep on with the mattress feeling like the softest faerie clouds. Two pillows are included and are guaranteed to support the neck, shoulders, and upper back. The comforter, pillow shams, sheet set, and bed skirt are all in lavender with my faerie wings embroidered on them. The 4 bedposts were designed to look like my actual staff and were enchanted to ward away bad dreams and negative energies. You won't regret getting this bed because you'll be getting the best sleep every single night without getting any more aches when you wake up in the morning. No more need to see your chiropractor!

     Springtime Fyora Paper Doll Set

     Next, I have picked the Springtime Fyora Paper Doll Set as the top pick for the Toys Department. This adorable paper doll set was first introduced in Neopia on March 1, 2009. If you are a toy collector, this item would make a great addition to your collection because the story behind this toy is truly inspirational. This set comes with a Fyora doll, Fyora staff, Fyora crown, Fyora wings, and Fyora shoes. All things Fyora!

     Although this is a paper doll set, it's also made of other recycled materials. I initially designed this set back in 2009 with the purpose of spreading awareness and hoping that this creation would inspire others to protect the environment. One of my concerns was plastic pollution. Plastics that are thrown away and left lying around after use are not only a visual nuisance, but they also pose a serious problem in the long run for the environment and everyone if the wastes end up in the waterways and eventually the ocean. The waste can physically harm the animals when in contact. The chemicals in the plastic will also contaminate the water and affect the animals living in the water when they ingest the toxins. This will affect everyone too because of the food chain cycle.

      It may take centuries for the plastic to degrade and disappear naturally when left lying around. Plastic pollution will also contaminate the air we breathe in. To get rid of the plastics lying around, there is a solution called the incineration of plastic waste. This process is a possible way of plastic disposal. However, the organic content within the plastic would be completely destroyed through the heating process and converted into carbon dioxide, water, and also some harmful gases. So, I thought recycling would be the best method of disposal. This method not only protects the environment, but it will help convert potential resources into useful products.

      I decided to use my powers to protect the environment by introducing the Springtime Fyora Paper Doll Set to Neopia in 2009. I used my staff, by giving it a wave, to gather as much plastic waste as I could throughout the years and converted them into safe reusable materials. Every material gathered has been converted into safe material to make this doll set and is Fyora-approved. This doll set doesn't feel or look like a paper doll set because I converted the plastic that I have gathered to mix with the paper material, which is recycled too. These lilac-coloured wings outlined in lavender will catch everyone's attention from miles away and were first released on October 20, 2006. They are truly stunning. A must-have for anyone who loves fashion and dressing up. Although these wings may not be your everyday wear, you can definitely wear them for special occasions. You can definitely wear these on Fyora Day to celebrate my special day and to show me your support! You can also wear them on Halloween when you go trick-or-treating. The Faerie Queen Wings aren't just for dressing up. Yes, the ideas are endless! You can even get creative and use them as room decor. How neat is that!?

     Number 7 - Beauty

     Fyora Valentine Scissors

     Released on January 22, 2010, the Fyora Valentine Scissors' item description indicates that these scissors are perfect for cutting a heart out of construction paper. Who says scissors are used for cutting paper only? You can use it to perform other tasks too.

     Don't have time to go to the barber shop or the hair salon? Is your hair getting too long and poking you in the eyes and ears? No need to worry because these Fyora Valentine Scissors will take care of that problem for you! All you have to do is hold these pair of scissors and they'll be able to read your mind and know what haircut style you want. You can use these scissors to cut your own hair just the way you imagined in your mind. All you have to do is snip and guide the scissors and they'll know how much to cut off and the specific angles to cut as well. The mistake percentage rate for these magically enchanted Fyora Valentine Scissors is still zero and there are no reports of inaccuracy up to this day.

     Number 6 - Sports & Outdoors

     Fyora Kite

     Looking for an outdoor activity to do? I highly recommend getting the Fyora Kite. This kite looks exactly like me and was released on November 23, 2004. With this kite, you can make Fyora soar high above the clouds and do all kinds of neat tricks in the air. But watch out and try to keep up with the Fyora Kite because this kite will fly super high and race extremely fast because it refuses to lose. You'll definitely have to run while flying this kite just to keep up with it!

     Number 5 - Arts & Crafts

     The name of this item as my top pick for the Arts & Crafts category is misleading. This Handcrafted Fyora Plushie was first released on December 21, 2005, and isn't manufactured as the image of the finished product shown above. Nope! The accessories, fabric, stuffing, thread, needle, and all the materials you need are included when you buy the Handcrafted Fyora Plushie, though it's not actually the completed plushie you'll be buying as pictured here. You'll be getting the materials to make your own Handcrafted Fyora Plushie. If you're into arts and crafts, this is the product for you! All you have to do is follow the step-by-step instructions included with this product to make this plushie. This activity will keep you busy for at least a week, but you'll have so much fun making the plushie and you'll feel that the result was worth the time you put into making it. This activity is enjoyable to do and the Handcrafted Fyora Plushie will be great for displaying.

     Number 4 - Petpets

     Faerie Doglefox

     Out of all the items listed in this article, this is the only item that doesn't include the name 'Fyora' or the words 'Faerie Queen' within the item name, but it still made it onto the Departments' Top 10 Fyora Picks in 2023 list. The Petpets category was very difficult for me to decide on because I genuinely feel like all Petpets should be listed here. However, I said I was going to pick one item for each department. So, the Faerie Doglefox gets my pick! The Faerie Doglefox made its first appearance in Neopia on April 29, 2004, and I pick this Petpet as the top choice for the Petpets Department. I'm a faerie and this is a faerie-type Petpet. The Faerie Doglefox can be your saviour and your support system. It will be by your side from the beginning till the end because these creatures were created to be this way. You can count on this Petpet to be your loyal companion for a very long time and it'll always know when to come to you and where to find you no matter how dark the times can get for one. This Faerie Doglefox will definitely remind you that it is grateful for your existence and to have you as a best friend.

     Number 3 - Patio & Gardening

     Pretty Fyora Potted Flowers

     If you enjoy gardening or if you don't want to get your hands dirty from gardening but would like to have plants around, the Pretty Fyora Potted Flowers could just be something you're looking for. These gorgeous, lilac-coloured flowers were grown outside of the Hidden Tower and were potted into this lilac vase with a lavender stripe design. This item was first released on June 2, 2009. You can keep these potted flowers inside your home as houseplants or you can replant them in your garden to spruce it up! If you don't want to get your hands dirty from gardening or if gardening isn't your cup of tea, you can keep the Pretty Fyora Potted Flowers just as they are and put them on your front porch or on your patio if you prefer keeping them outside. For indoors, these will look great in the bedroom on your desk or on any windowsill. These flowers are low maintenance and they require little water to survive. Watering these flowers once every 10 days is all that's needed and they don't require that much sunlight either. The Deluxe Fyora Day Cake was released on June 2, 2004, and every year on Fyora Day, I treat my dear Neopians to this cake. It's delicious and each bite feels magical. I'm not even exaggerating, you would have to eat it to really experience the magicalness I'm talking about here. This cake wins the top pick spot for the Health & Wellness category because it's good for your soul. Too much of anything can be bad, but when in moderation it's completely fine and healthy. Everyone likes cakes and no one can ever say no to a slice of the Deluxe Fyora Day Cake. Eating this will brighten your mood and this cake can be found in bakeries and will also be given out on Fyora Day, so when you eat this you'll not only feed your soul, but you'll also create new friendships and bonds with the Neopians you come across that day when you celebrate Fyora Day with me. Food and eating with one another will allow you to bond and form new friendships.

     Number 1 - Personal Care

     Fyora Table Mirror

     Finally, the final category is Personal Care and the Fyora Table Mirror wins this spot. This charming mirror was released on June 2, 2007. This is not your ordinary mirror. The Fyora Table Mirror shows the truth and can see deeper than what meets the eye when one is in front of it. This magical mirror brings out the best in others and shows those qualities to the actual individual when they are in front of this mirror. As your Faerie Queen, it's not only my duty to keep things under control and watch over Neopia, but everyone's well-being and mental health are just as important to me as my own. I sincerely care about my fellow Neopians, each and every one of them.

     One of the worst things that an individual can do to oneself is to compare oneself to others and engrave the idea that they are not worthy or not good enough or that they are incapable. I'll tell you this and I don't want you to forget what I'm about to tell you. You are only a small part of this one big world, but you make up the world. Your existence is a blessing. You are here for a reason. Even though you are only a small part of this big world, you are here for a reason. As you can see, the world is improving little by little over time and why is it that? The answer is simple... because of you. You and every living being make up this world and when you see the world improving and becoming a better place, it's because of everyone's contributions.
